Our Process
Our step-by-step approach to financial success
Introduction
We start with a free, no obligation chat to discuss your needs and to see where we might help. Based on this initial discussion, we consider what could be most suitable for you and/or your family, through our financial planning offerings. If what we can offer doesn’t align, we will guide you on alternative approaches that you might wish to consider.
Meeting
Next is a free follow up meeting, either individually, as a couple or as a family, to discuss together and outline your goals for the future and your financial landscape. Here we discuss and agree your attitude to risk so we can define the most suitable recommendations. We’ll let you know ahead of the meeting the kinds of information we’ll need and don’t worry if you don’t have all the answers, we are there to help you define this.
Approach and agreement
Investing your money is never without risk so we ensure sure you are comfortable and clear on the outcomes and impact for you every step of the way. If after our meeting you feel that financial planning is the right thing for you, we ask you to sign a client agreement to process any data shared and lay out what you can expect. It is then we generate a quote based on the complexity of the approach and our time to deliver this for you.
What to expect from us
Choosing to proceed, means we now take all the information you’ve provided so far, roll up our sleeves and start crafting your plan, in working discussions with you.
Once we have your authority, we begin research with your previous product providers and may also produce a cashflow model to illustrate how your money could grow and be used to achieve the earlier defined goals.
The Report
Our in-house specialist researchers generate a jargon-free report to illustrate a comparison of where you are now and where our discussions have determined you want to be. It is a comprehensive plan that draws out recommended products and investments. With our independent approach to financial planning, we scour the whole financial market to select the products that are the best fit for your needs and tailored to your risk appetite.
Choose what next
Your personalised report constitutes bespoke financial advice from us as an authorised and regulated firm. Quotes include the initial cost of the report as well as costs to implement any recommendations we make. Working together throughout the process, we are confident that what we deliver will meet your needs, but you do not have to move ahead with anything we recommend. If you do not wish to continue at this point, then you only pay for the initial report and that’s yours to keep.
Long lasting relationships
Our advice doesn’t have to stop here. We can implement your plan, open accounts, transfer funds and manage your investments, continue to support and review your ongoing progress as your plans develop. We have built long lasting relationships over many years, and most of our clients and their families choose to remain with us, supporting generations to achieve their financial goals and lasting legacy. Let us handle your financial matters so that’s one thing off your to do list.
Follow up
We monitor performance and track the ongoing suitability of your investments along with continued progression towards your goals. We keep in contact through any key life events or changes to your attitude to risk and to recommend action if needed. We constantly monitor financial market movements and changing government regulations, to proactively ensure your investments are up-to-date and to keep you informed of key updates of interest to you.
